How It Works

Magnesium L-Threonate is formed by binding magnesium to L-threonic acid. This structure allows magnesium ions to more efficiently reach the brain, where they support neuronal plasticity, signaling, and cognitive pathways.
Most magnesium forms, such as glycinate or bisglycinate, citrate, oxide, and malate, do not efficiently cross the blood–brain barrier because magnesium ions on their own have very limited transport ability into the central nervous system. Magnesium L-Threonate is different. L-threonate is a small, biologically active metabolite of vitamin C. When magnesium is bound to L-threonate, the carrier molecule helps determine where and how magnesium can travel in the
