Magnesium L-Threonate (120 vegetable capsule) is a highly bioavailable form of magnesium known for its unique ability to cross the blood–brain barrier. This makes it the preferred form for cognitive and neurological support.
Key Benefits of this form of magnesium are:
Supports memory, learning, and overall cognitive function
Helps maintain healthy brain synapse density
Promotes calmness, relaxation, and improved stress response
Helps maintain normal magnesium levels
Supports healthy nerve function and brain aging
Non-laxative form of magnesium
How It Works
Magnesium Threonate is formed by binding magnesium to L-Threonic acid. This structure allows magnesium ions to efficiently reach the brain, where they support neuronal plasticity, signalling, and cognitive pathways.
Most magnesium forms (glycinate/ bisglycinate , citrate, oxide, malate) do not efficiently cross the blood–brain barrier, because magnesium ions by themselves have very low transport ability into the central nervous system. Magnesium L-Threonate is different. L-Threonate is a small, biologically active metabolite of Vitamin C. When magnesium is bound to L-Threonate it’s the carrier molecule that makes the difference in where and how magnesium can travel in the body.
Recommended dose: (Adults) take 1-2 capsules daily with a meal.
